1. Natalie Babbitt reflects on what eternal life is like. Why does she have Jesse as hopeful, Miles as realistic, Mae as determined, and Angus as depressed about their feelings on living forever?

  1. 1.Mae Tuck is determand because she understands the truth but knows shes the one who has to keep everyone safe. She is very protective and takes anything life throw at her.Miles Tuck is very realistic because he already had a tradegady happen.He thinks everyone should do something useful with their life.Angus Tuck doesnt like enturnal life, he hides himself so he doesnt see himself not grow with the world.He doesnt smile because he thinks he is living a curse.Jesse Tuck thinks that if you can live forever you should enjoy it. he is young and thinks that everything is done for a reason.
    2.Natalie Babbit is from ohio.The setting is based on treegap.Natalie feel the woods are an important part of the setting because the spring is there, that is where it all happens. it all starts there.
    3. Winnie is a dynamic character because she is more independent and not as perfect at the end after her advantere.

  4. Jesse is hopful because if you are destined to live forever mine as well injoy it. Miles is realistic because he thinks if you are doing something mine as well make it useful. Mae is determind because she wants no one to find out about there secret. Angus is depressed because he cant stop thinking about how they can live forever and how bad it is.

    The state that Natalie babbitt was born in was ohio. The state that the setting was in is the upstate New York. I think the woods is a good place because usually there is water of somesort so she could just write about a spring and not get confused.

    Winnie is a dynamic character because when Winnie was young it was all clean and she was very polite. She changes in the story because when she gets kidnaped by the Tucks when they eat dinner no one is being polite so she startes to get less polite.

Miles is realistic because his wife and kids ran away from his family (the Tuck's) because they wondered why they never grew old. Mae is determined because she cares about her family and wants to keep them safe. She wants the spring to remain a secret. Angus is depressed because he and his family have to live forever.
    2.Natalie Babbitt is from Dayton, Ohio. The setting is based on Natalie's life and where she grew up. Natalie Babbitt thinks the woods ia an important setting because the story is mostly about the wood and its magical spring.

Miles is realistic because he has experienced more than others and thinks he should do something important with their lives. Mae is determined because she has a hard life but always makes it through even when times are tough. Angus is depressed about living forever because he thinks it's a curse, never dying.

    2. Natalie is from Dayton Ohio. The small town is called Treegap. The setting of the woods is important because it easily conceals the spring and creates a place Winnie can run away to.

    3. Winnie is a dynamic character because she changes at the beginning from being fiercely guarded to being guarded all the same, yet changing because she becomes more independent and straight-forward after her adventure. She still has a sense of right and wrong she's just more open.

    2.) Natalie Babbit was born in Ohio and now lives in Rhode Island. I think it's based on the southern Ohio or Kentucky. The setting is in Treegap. The woods are important because that is where the secret spring lies and the road goes around it.

  15. 1) The Tucks show 4 different views on living forever. This shows Winnie different viewpoints on living forever.

    2)Natalie Babbit was born in Dayton, OH. The story is based on a home she had in Clayton, New York. She thinks the woods are important because they could be very big and no one know how big unless they go through them.

    3) Winnie is a dynamic character because she used to be loney and shy and in the story she makes friends with a toad and the Tucks.

I think the state the setting is based on is her home town Ohio because in August it is warm and she is from Ohio.Natalie Babbitt thinks the woods is a important part of the setting because without the woods where would the spring go and the Tucks couldn't live in a city because people will figure out the secret.
    3. Winnie changed the story by running away from her home then later when she is with her family again she goes away once again and now her family is courious to know what she will do next.
